Tuesday, 6/24/08 – Viva Las Vegas
Haven't blogged for awhile. Things have been pretty busy poker and personal. I'm leaving for Las Vegas this coming Friday, 6/27 to play in several events at the WSOP and over at the Venetian Deep Stack series of events.

I've been trying to win a seat for the main $10,000 event (key word TRYING). I do think I have a better chance once I get out there. The first event I'll play is a $540 NL over at the Venetian. Next day is the $1500 HORSE event over at the WSOP.

There will be plenty of opportunities once out in Vegas to win that main event seat. I don't feel that actually buying my way in is an option I'm comfortable with. Things can go bad in a $10,000 event the same as in any other event and I guess I'm just too conservative.

I'll also be working a little out there, gathering contacts and info for when the Joe Average Poker show starts up again! We are hoping to back on the air by the later part of July. I will keep you informed of the exact date once it has been established. Look for us…

Sorry I haven't answered all the questions coming in, but we will get to them once we are broadcasting. I'm thinking of changing my "What Would You Do" segment to "What Did I Do Wrong"...just kidding, though the online beats have been totally ridiculous lately. It seems like the computer programmers stay up very late at night to see how bad your hand can get f@#*%d up. Okay, enough venting.
